Matthew McCloskey
8:08 AM (Edited 8:09 AM)
For the next few classes we're going to be learning about pandemics in general, in order to identify anything strange, unique, or different about COVID 19. The fact is, the world has seen something like things at numerous other points in history....so what makes this time so difficult?
Below is an attachment of some Google Slides with a copy for each student. Please follow these directions:
1. There are links to articles on Slides 1 and 3. Read each article. They are also right here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/cases-updates/summary.html
https://www.cdc.gov/flu/pandemic-resources/1918-pandemic-h1n1.html
2. Slides 2 and 4 have a "KWL" chart for each article. "KWL" stands for: Know, Wonder, Learn. Each chart has three spaces on it - "What I know", "What I don't know", and "What I want to learn".
3. Fill each of those charts up, and submit via google classroom. Please let me know if there are any issues.
