Financial literacy is the ability to understand and effectively apply various financial skills, including personal financial management, budgeting, and investing. Financial literacy helps individuals become self-sufficient so that they can achieve financial stability.
For todays assignment which will be due on Wednesday I need you to understand how checks work and how to make one.
TSWBAT: Fill out 3-4 blank checks and understand how to do so. For today's assignment which is due on Wednesday I need you guys to send me 3-4checks that are fully filled. You can use any company for these checks just make sure to understand how to do so.

Practice Writing Checks and Deposit Slips
Follow along as we complete checks and deposit slips for various checks and deposits.
1. You go to American Eagle to purchase a new hoodie for school on August 12th.
The total for check #1462 is $49.82. Complete the check below.
2. The next day your mother calls you and tells you she is having a party at her
house that afternoon, and asks you to go to Costco for a few items. While you are there, you find several items for school. The total for check #1463 is $112.03. Complete the check below.

3. When you deliver the items to your mother, she writes you a check for her
purchases at Costco. Her items totaled 78.34. But, to keep it simple, she writes you a check for an even $80.00. You deposit that check the next morning. Complete the deposit slip below.

4. On August 15th, you get your last full summer paycheck before going back to
school, $486.94. You deposit it the same day, but you get $40.00 cash back. Complete the deposit slip below.
