Over the next couple of classes we will be taking a turn into the movie industry and we will explore some of the many exciting behind the scenes and in front of the scenes jobs there - in.   One job in paticular is called a Continuity clerk or a script supervisor. This person makes sure that, if an actor is walking toward the sun in one shot, he is walking in the same direction in the next shot, though the camera may be set up at a different angle. Or, if there is a cat in the room in one shot, that cat is still scratching up the furniture and coughing up hairballs in subsequent shots and they get paid big money to do this. Below are 2 scenes from a series called Game of Thrones in which the Continuity Clerk had an epic fail. Look at each picture and tell me what item doesn’t belong.
